Runners Take 1st at Baldwin Meet
The Peters Township
Middle School girls' cross country team took first place at this
year’s Baldwin Invitational event. The Indians’ Angie
DeNardo was the first middle school runner to cross the finish
line, beating 140 other girls from 12 area school districts.
The other girls on
Peters winning squad are: Vida Komer, Angie DeNardo, Nikki Celko,
Elizabeth Palko, Natalie Krewin, Kenzie Stepanik, and Morgan
Wilson. The Baldwin event, held in October, is the pinnacle of
local middle school cross country events.
